MONK - Logo ideas

At first with this brief I thought the design would be heading in a clean cut and quite high end/formal design direction but from the information I've gathered from talking to Mannie I think a more hands on and rustic aesthetic would be more appropriate. I've come up with a few ideas based on the name of the bar 'MONK'.

I've been considering mostly deliverables so far so I need to research and consider different print finishes, stock choices and methods of distribution. Also I need to develop a strong concept that ties it all together.
