I've not spent much time on my MONK brief yet but after the conversations I've had with Mannie, I've begun to draw out a few ideas. I think a hand rendered and bespoke logo would be a great starting point for this brief as it will reflect the hand crafted cocktails and the bespoke beers and spirits that are sold at the bar already and in the future.
I'm going to keep working on getting ideas down but so far I'm aiming to keep the monk crisp and clear, the challenging bit is too incorporate the identity of the bar. It would be great to go and visit the bar itself to get a feel for it and to see the context in which the logo would be applied.
