TOP 10 THINGS - Audio choices & ideas

This link has lots of useful videos on the Black bear. The music is much calmer than the previous two examples.

I've taken the Frozen Planet trailer music and converted it to use in my title sequence. The music is very dramatic which will work well with the imagery that I'll be using. The sequence need to be dramatic like the music and the assets to give it that excitement and appeal to the younger side of my family audience. The programme, being educational and informative, perhaps wouldn't receive the interest that it will with this excitement if it was to stand alone as a documentary.

I don't know how to upload music tracks to blogger so i've made a list of the websites I looked at to gather my sound effects.

I was searching mainly for bear noises that would give the bears in the idents character. It's difficult to find good quality sounds and on top of this, relevant and appropriate ones. I'm not trying to scare anyone and I don't want the sounds to be offensive or annoying to the audience.

The Brown bear and the Polar bear have almost the same noises as they are so similar, you can also get away with applying the noises to the Giant Panda bear as well but the Koala bear wasn't easy to find. This is due to the lack of demand for the sound effects of the Koala. It has a very distinctive noise in comparison to the other larger bears. Its has a very deep grunting noise which for its size, is very loud and quite unpleasing to hear. I managed to cut and edit one of the other bear noises to create a softer version of this noise for the Koala ident.
