These are the templates that I will be using as guides to emboss the first quote. The embossing will be done by hand so it may take a while and I'm not sure if it will be as effective as the traditional method of embossing.
These templates will be position on the A1 piece of card and I will first use a thin embossing tool to score the edges of each letter, this will then make it easier to see where the type will appear on the reverse side. After this I will then put some fabric, like a jumper or a hoody, underneath the paper and use a thicker embossing tool to fill in the scored out letters. This will hopefully create a nice raised edge, it can be tricky though and often if may rip or puncture the stock.
