Collection 100 - opinions

  • Leeds has been very busy over Christmas, it was almost unbearable to shop in on Saturday, i recommend avoiding the town center on the weekend (Liv Chapman)
  • OK, my exploration of Leeds as a city has been very limited so far as the only places that i tend to go out of necessity are college and town and both these areas are 'high investment' areas and so are looked after or brand new
i think architecturally Leeds is beautiful
and has a subtle blend of old and new
    which works in harmony
i think this also offers Leeds a look of sophistication and a respectful balance between it's history modernism
    Leeds night life is wicked
i belief it offers one of the best nights in the country
    stastically anyway
i dont know how that i measured
polls or scale of people that go out over the weekend
but i think it is defiantly one of the top nights out that i have experienced
    Leeds and Newcastle anyway
Socially, i haven't really got a massive social life down here, in comparison to what i have back home but i think that goes without saying
if you move to a new city, you have to establish yourself before you in my case draw a valid comparison between cities
    .
    shopping, i frinkin love it
Leeds defiantly has some quality shops
    which i hate
because i always end up spending too much money
all the time ;lol (Luis Bachini)
  • Leeds is a great city, has everything you want from a city, and it's fairly compact, everything within walking distance. It's also has a very young feel to it, due to loads of students. (Paddy Ranger)
  • I think the shopping and the nightlife is good. (Bhale Mhalanga)
  • Leeds is compact....and fucking mint. (Jake Crosby)
  • I love Leeds...especially all the different style clubs and bars, I like the market it has loads of really divers stalls, I also really like the west Indian centre its got such good music and atmosphere.I also like that there's loads of trees and green space, it makes the city really pretty! there's a bit too many Gregg's though (Frankie Jones)
  • Shopping in Leeds, sweeet! good vintage shops and independent retailers. (Declan Geraghty)
  • I come from a small suburb outside of Nottingham so its good to be in a larger city. (Emil-Jane Smith)
  • its strange, ive seen something new everyday ive been here, it wasnt what i expected but its growing on me, i think if i went home for too long id miss leeds tbh (Will Cotterill)
