IMAGE - Type as Image - Quote 2 vectors and process

Above is the outline for the quote which I'm using as a scaffolding for the vectors.

Below are the images I have used to vector and get the relevant visuals to create the design.

The final vectors. I didn't end up using the white sugar packet as it was too broad to make any use of of it and the blue on it wasn't in keeping with the rest of the colour pallet.

Mid way point.

Final vectored quote.

This was the trickiest quote to work with but I'm really pleased with the final outcome.

These are the templates that I will be using as guides to emboss the first quote. The embossing will be done by hand so it may take a while and I'm not sure if it will be as effective as the traditional method of embossing.

These templates will be position on the A1 piece of card and I will first use a thin embossing tool to score the edges of each letter, this will then make it easier to see where the type will appear on the reverse side. After this I will then put some fabric, like a jumper or a hoody, underneath the paper and use a thicker embossing tool to fill in the scored out letters. This will hopefully create a nice raised edge, it can be tricky though and often if may rip or puncture the stock.

IMAGE - Type as image - Quote 3

Quote 1

"You have hundreds and hundreds of online friends, virtually none of whom you share with your partner. Maybe this is because they don't really like your friends, or maybe it's because they actually have real friends with whom they like to go out with in real life. It may be worth checking to see if they're secretly seeing one of your online "friends""

I want to focus on using the rather extensive quote to fill the A1 sheet and/or play around with the layout and use of space and colour. I will post probably use an existing typeface without manipulating its default structural integrity but I'm going to investigate into how I apply the text and manipulate the copy to create the visual.
