Get a quote early on (for when you show the client and they ask how much will it be and you don't say 'I don't know')
Always give an identical specification to 3 print estimators to keep it consistent when comparing prices.
Learn roughly how much things cost (unit cost)
Understand viable minimum quantities
Extras and Author corrections (anything above what the client quoted to you to send to the printers)
Delivery? (how long will it take? how much will it cost? shipping cost? delivery charge? is it extra?)
